Wow last post goes all the way back to 2005 and were almost into 2007, gee I really need to post before this year ends too….
I have no idea why I quit blogging all the sudden, and why first thing this morning I paid visit to my old blog, checked few Iraqi blogs and decided to write something here again….
Probably it's just my college and most colleges in Baghdad are now deserted out of students ….
I was supposed to practice what I've learned in the past years on patients, but seems this year till now has different story, as threatens were scattered via internet or posters in streets targeting any students or doctors who continue studying this year, not to mention that incidence earlier with ministry of high education when around 80 of the staff there were kidnapped, some students including me decided to go till after yesterday but no hope of resuming the studies, as three mortars fell near the college good thing no one got injured while a car bomb and road bomb targeted other colleges same time….and this was not the first time we were targeted.
After that day and the continued failure of government securing colleges, and obviously anything else, this year will be postponed...
Bottom line am bored I don’t know why I didn’t say that from the beggining: P

On a different story our Olympic soccer team made it to the final match of the Asian Olympic Games at Qatar, passed S. Korea at the semi finals and hoping those boys keep amazing us at the final too…

P.S: Wondering if this blog gets back to life? and i will try to post more frequently.

Update: How weird this could be I post a blog nearly same day as another blog mentioned many Iraqi blogs got silenced, after reading his post I have to admit it's quite true and sad -_-

Too much democracy

Now who would thought after two years and a half, Ba'athies will go out again carrying Saddam's Photos, bunch of idiots as they've been always been, demanding not be excluded in constitution and their excuse was always "we don't warship Saddam"
Well I guess the love between the two is eternal :P

Also some Turkmen's flags were raised between the protesters!! Which I have no idea why…
Ba'athies were protesting against federalism (I guess too much democracy happening around here, as if they were allowing people to only refuse), now I guess who want to refuse federalism can chant together with the Ba'athies…
More banners were praising "Majlis Al-Hawar al watani" which is the main sunni representation in the committee of constitution writing!

another stupid messages were also sent yesterday, this time from a group of rebel from al-Falujah appeared on TV and asked Muqtada al-Sadir to fight all the Persians, traitors and this time no U.S forces :) and the will stand with him…
By Persians they mean Al-Hakim, which is I see many don't distinguish between the two; well here they are fighting each other in al-Najaf!!

More freaky messages yesterday, from a politic can't remember his name said if the constitution didn't include sunna's demands, Sunna will burn Iraq from top to bottom!!

What a timing this was all few hours only from presentation of the constitution's draft, which is am still uncertain if they've included or not something about banning al-ba'ath party?

Hi all, as am blogging again that's mean Am still alive, and the good news also I got the results of my final examination, I finally passed :)

Well I was waiting something good to happen here to blog about it, instead of the gloomy things happened In the past month…one of our mates in the college and was a close friend to me, killed by the U.S forces while he was returning to his house during the examination, the story was quite brief; he was in a public transport vehicle sitting next to the driver, as they approached a mobile check point of a U.S army the driver might not responded or was too fast (this is our conclusions) and one of the soldiers opened fire at the vehicle, he took one shot in his trachea, which didn't kill him immediately, he made a call with his mobile to his friend, not to his family as if he thought he would survive; the time his friend and the family came to hospital they found him dead…this was a repeated scenario from the last year as another student was supposed to be having a graduation party but was killed, the same as he was sitting in front next to the driver but the exception this time was not a check point but they were suddenly in the middle of combat between insurgents and the U.S forces, did I mention that the driver didn't even have a scratch at both cases!
The driver walked away safe and sound no need to mention the American soldier, there is no doubt Ali was killed mistakenly, and the least thing you do after a mistake is an apology, which Ali's family didn't get yet….

These incidents plus every bombs, kidnapping, beheadings let us lose any sense of security at our lives (or am I just so paranoid :P) … as for the kidnapping issue, I don't know if it were increased in the whole country after the lightening operations or just a coincidence as my aunt's husband, a friend in the college, my neighbor and two other people we know were kidnapped…at the end they were all freed but with ransoms range between 10,000$ and 60,000$ !!
Without any interfering from the cops, even though all families have reported a kidnapping issues to the cops…(I don't have any issue against cops, regarding to what happened to me last few months :P)
One of the freed hostages told me that at the day he was freed the kidnapers thanked him and told him that "You have financed Al-Mujahdeen now, God bless you!!?"
Even thought the news of freeing the Australian hostage Douglas wood was really great, but there is feeling sometimes that cops don't bother them selves with these interior cases…

Now I guess you knew why I didn't blog anything, all I wish my is next post will be on some thing more delightful…

Have any one dreamed that he was dreaming??
Well maybe some does!!!
In Iraq, people spread rumors that every thing is a rumor… and you don't know which rumor you pick to believe, after all everything work here as rumors…
Am talking exactly this time on Al-Madain Crises, the days before yesterday that's before the bodies were discovered in Tigris river (full story), people analyzed it the way they loved, am glad that i don't have to write how some analyzed it just click here to know what am talking about...
What pissed me off, when a member of Association of Muslims scholars said on TV, "We made some contacts there, and they said there is no single hostage in that area"
As if he had connections with all insurgents or I might call "the freedom fighters" in Iraq...
And with all the respect I still don't get the last post of Iraq the model, couldn't find a single explanation why he insisted that every thing was fake!

As for a civil war that may occurs in the upcoming days, I think most Iraqis believe that only one who can benefit from it is Ba'athies, but another operation like what happened in Al-falluga and Najaf maybe is a matter of time, things really got insane in the past week, after the relief we somehow felt after the election.

The rest will be from the moment the officer locked the door behind me, there I saw nearly other twenty prisoners, I was at that time depressed and confused; the only excited thing for them and for me lately was to know the full story of every new one get arrested, after I finished my stupid story I was called for the rest of my presence there as Al-Zarkawi assistant :P or the doctor;
The others were accused for hijacking, robberies, possession stolen money and even psychos…all proclaimed they were innocents just like me :P
Just few minutes I was there then it was launch time, the launch was rice, bean sauce and chicken, one of prisoners complained saying oh my god chicken chicken why they just don't change!
Still it's hard people to believe me, each time I tell my story here since prisoners food at Saddam time was merely water, bread and sometimes rice, after the launch there was tea and orange, and this is as they told me all from the seven dollar for each prisoner a day allowanced by the U.S army…even though they were complaining of the food taste, I myself didn't eat anything so can't tell why :P
As the night came down two others were brought, it was so loud and clear the cops was beating them with sticks or maybe something else, when they locked them with us I saw wounds and cuts at different parts of their bodies, few minutes later they were called again; heard from the others that it is time for the torture room electric shocks, hot or cold water were just one of the few methods they were talking about, and I was shocked that most of them were tortured and showed me an old signs of torturing.
I told them "well human rights were really improved after the war, and there is free media and newspapers, is it possible that you can uncover what is happening here?"
One laughed and pointed at man sleeping at the corner, and told me that he is chief editor of a newspaper; that man joined us and showed me many photos he took with many well known politics like Jalal Talabani, Ahmed chalabi and others…
I asked him if he is here because of something he wrote, replied "that this is nothing compared with the deep corruption happening here; look at your case, me you and the rests are here while real terrorists are out free, when you are here the cops determine how much they take money from you according to what crime you have committed"
He as an example paid them 4000$ and waited his release for about 50 days, the other was a suspect of kidnapping operation his price was 10,000$
If real terrorists were caught they ask them for even 100,000$, I didn't believe them at beginning, until next day when my brother told us that three officers asked him for a price to offer there services, like forwarding my papers to the judge or I could locked forever…
Anyway I slept that night for maybe 2 hours or less, at the morning I finally had the chance to see the judge, gave my testimony and he didn't count me as an innocent, I was freed with a bail…So now and as they say I have records;
The ironic thing that I was not arrested by the old regime, instead I was arrested by this government which I defended and till now about it…
I know the real one to blame is me, at Saddam time if such accident occurred I would walk at the opposite side, expecting that all the people near it will be arrested, not just walking there stupidly with my camera…
I really have nothing against the cops now, it took me a while to post my second part and really thought of not posting it at all, there are for sure great cops who are offering there lives for the rest of this country, waiting for the civil institutions too see the light defending for the human rights or monitor employees and all government's departments :)

Sorry for not blogging for the past days, I simply didn't find anything interested to blog for; until the day before yesterday and as I've arrived to my college, I watched a crowed of students gathering near parts of trapped vehicle I knew lately that it was just detonated half an hour ago, so I thought of taking some photos with my digital camera that I just bought lately, and maybe post here with another photos showing all the damage that caused by the explosion for the near properties…trying to shed more light for such accidents that happens nearly every days, and not like how the media cover a tragedy of 100 family lost there beloved one with maybe a one minute report like what happened in Al-Hilla days ago, then the worse watching the family of that Jordanian terrorist receive celebration !!!

Anyway and back to my story, and just after taking two photos for it, one of the police man suddenly took my camera and dragged me to there vehicle, telling me that "who allowed you to take photos? You are a terrorist and trying to sell these photos!!"
So I became a terrorist!! and as trying to clarify everything I told him "That these are old Saddam cops procedures and am just student at that college…"
Am pretty sure now that it was not the best line to pick up, since that cop picked his walkie-talkie and reported to the police station, "A suspect has been captured near the scene, holding a camera and offended the police men!!"
The answer was "Hold the suspect for more interrogations later"
That stunned me and even more the other cops that were near me, one of the cops told the officer why sir, you know he is an innocent, I really thought that I can solve this misunderstanding, but the other cops told me that they can't do anything now, not even him; now it's between you and the judge at the court!!
I was escorted to Al-Alathamyia Police station, on my way to the police I saw American soldiers at the garage of the station, thought if I should start, then maybe best to start that am a blogger, and not a terrorist, like what those stupid cops think :P
I was not chained at that time, and soldiers where not away from me, but I canceled that idea telling to myself, I can easily solve my problem there, and what if the soldier didn't understand a word from me :P
Then maybe I'll just complicate my case; at the station and after I gave my statement waiting to be raised to the judge, one of cops told me that it's forbidden an all world to tape a terrorist action, I answered him "Why? You remember in 9/11 when the two planes hits the towers, did they arrest every one who taped it!!!
Replied "That operation was held by the American government, and they put the cameras and broadcast it live to the world!!!"
I said well I thought It's a free country now, the other replied "who is laughing at you with this, who said were not free at Saddam time!!!"
Then I tired to change the subject asking when I'll see the judge, other one told me there is no judge now, it's 2:00PM you'll have to until tomorrow, for now we'll have to lock you with the other prisoners :0
And as they were taking me to custody, now I was hoping to see an American soldier on my way, as I've seen them walking in the station while I was giving my statement, couldn't find a single one all disappeared, I saw instead my brother there as my friends in the college called my family and told them about me…
I knew from him friends of mine and relatives are outside the station now, I told him what I brought to myself, later I knew that he bribed some officers but they couldn't do anything it's the stupid routine that they have restrict to it…
The officer took me again to the custody, I told the officer it is me not the terrorist who was arrested and he replied "can you imagine how he is laughing at you now"
Few months ago, I posted how great Cops are, and put some photos for them now I really should delete it :P
Then he opened the door of custody, I was in and saw nearly twenty prisoners there; I'll post the rest of what I've seen inside soon…

Here is the photo I took, I believe I was just so optimist for the whole situation in Iraq, realized now every thing need time, or maybe I was just dealing with stupid cops…

Al-Alowsi

Al-Alowsi head of De-ba'athification institution, and only Iraqi political that asked for making normal relations with Israel; survived from third assassination attempt but lost his two sons one with a 30 years and the other 22 years old and his body guard…
Al-Alowsi who provoked a huge argument after his announced visit to Israel last September attending a conference against terrorist in Tel-Aviv, which led to his exile from Al-Mu'utamer party (chalabi's party)
and he added "I'll repeat the visit, even if the terrorists tried to kill me again, Peace is the only solution, peace with Even Israel but not with the terrorists"
And asked the government to stop any kind of negotiations with the terrorist, and to Liberate Al-Rumadi and Mosul from the terrorists…

I really respected this man from the very beginning for his bravery and taking such responsibilities, may the god bless their souls and give patience to his family with their catastrophe….

P.S: So far some Iraqi bloggers were accused as CIA agents, betrayals…etc hope this post don't add Zionists to the long list :P

I blog when am happy only, in the past days I didn't blog because of my mid year exams, all the crises of winter and the increased insurgent attacks on Iraqi citizens…
Yesterday I've seen on TV hope and smile return to Iraq faces even tears in there eyes, a thing we even couldn't dream about it finally come true…
Iraqis at different countries along the world decided there future by voting :)

Tomorrow will be for sure a historical day in the life of Iraqis, and for sure a challenging day for all of us…

about the situation now every thing is silent where I live, even though we've heard clashes occurred at different places in Baghdad, like in Athamia, Saydia and Dora even though the media didn't mention it..
and talking about the media, poor Al-jazeera is only giving five or ten minutes covering the Iraqi elections, trying to give a false picture of the whole situation, and trying to show as if all Iraqis against the elections, you also can't see any election's commercials in it, at the contrary Al-Arabia which is the other Arabic network news agency is filled with them…
Al-hurra channel, that’s fundamental from your taxes :P (I mean American people) will fully coverage the election day from 6:00 am to 12:00 am at live broadcast….

Sorry for the long delay and for not replying your e-mails or your comments, am alright I was just not in the mood to even surfing the internet in the past days, things kid a sucks these days it all started last month when the electricity supply dropped to 8 hours and now it's even less than 6 hours; then it continued to all kind of power supplies, you can see now queues up to five kilometers on gas stations, queues for cooking gas and petroleum oil….letting the people ask what kind of preparations did the government take for this winter!
And to tell the truth I was just spending the few hours of electricity between my studies and playing the latest games of X-BOX….
I just bought it few days ago, really didn't know that this device reached Iraq, I asked and they told me it entered immediacy after the war ended, that's another reason for War :P
I wonder when I'll grow up and quit playing games :P

About the translation of last commercial here it is…

last clip really brought tears to my eyes when I first say it, and strangely this is the least clip that viewed on TVs, it's the father you see at the last walking with his child speaking with him self describing how we lived without a hope, yes there are too many crises in Iraq now a day, but at least we have a hope this time for a better tomorrow, at saddam time we were hoping just for not the worse…

Am sure that I have mistaken in the translations many times, from grammar mistakes to words chosen so please feel free correcting me, and maybe when I have the full translation, I will try adding the text to the video it would be much better…

As the operation of Fallugah occurred few days ago, and it didn't end till now there were big media attack specially in Al-Jazeera trying to describe the whole operation as a war between Shia and Sunna; this is a little bit ironic but here is there excuses:
shia represented by the Iraqi national guard, and there bloody leader Iyad Alawi are killing the Mujahdeen and civilian people in Fallugah followed by the break to the most respected mosque of sunna "Abo Hannifa mosque" In Al-Athamyia and the later violence actions happened next day, that Zeyad mentioned it…
The other excuse is the way that Ayat –Allah Al-Sistani react; he simply didn't react about it at all, I've watched a program on Al-jazeera that last for nearly an hour, there were callings supposed to be from Iraq, and they were to be exactly….screaming :P using all the verbal language you might think about, how he left Al-Fallugah for the occupiers…and sadly the same that I've read in a blog here

Furthermore, where is Sistani? Why isn't he saying anything about the situation? When the South was being attacked, Sunni clerics everywhere decried the attacks. Where is Sistani now, when people are looking to him for some reaction? The silence is deafening.

I wont comment on it, afraid of accusing me as a sectarian person even though only raising such a subject for some people is an enough excuse for accusing…as an example Saddam regime didn't accused by them as a sectarian regime, while the temporary Iraqi council was accused, simply because that council paid attention for all sections of Iraq, while the old regime didn't at all!

After all it's just injustice to accuse Sunna about it, those are just ex-ba'atheis that enjoy the instability, and know exactly how to use these moments for dividing this country…and we are in front of the first time event "the elections" separated by only two months…

Finally it rained here in Iraq announcing the began of winter, it rained for almost two days and a half, the weather now is so pleasant… every thing seems so good till now…well now I wish it didn't rain at all, the electricity was off for nearly two days and now it reduced from 18 hours supply to less than 8 hours a day, in my area telephones lines were cut also…I barely was following the news of the race to the white house, and I've received e-mail with a great idea of flowing the Us media with letters from Iraqi people didn't have the chance to read it just now, anyway every thing went so well, president bush re-elected and that was a big slam for all terrorists in the world, and I laughed at some baathies here :P
I was always puzzled why most of people signing my guest map, are from the east coast, well after watching the survey of voting I realized that most republic supporters were from there, and I want to thank you all for all the time you spend reading Iraqi blogs and the support you are offering to us :) and wish visitors from west coast increase by time ;)
I've checked a comment on the guest map from Karl with a link, it contained a lot of cheerful photos of Iraqi kidz with the Us troops, check it here

P.S: This post should be published a week ago, really don't know if Al-Fallugah assault has something with electricity shortage or as I heard there were sabotaging in the south of Iraq, following the news now is really difficult…so if I may add about Al-Fallugah assault I would say this time Al-Fallugah really lost kind of sympathize by some people, because of many facts that showed up earlier like that program I mentioned before on Al-Arabia and there testimonies after there releasing, and the barbaric slaughtered of the 49 persons from the national Iraqi guard, also assistance of Iraqi national guard with multinational forces in breaking into the city…and also the tape that showed some infiltrated Arab caught in the hospital gave a good impression and denied the opposite idea of emptiness of city from any Arabs, making the majority of Iraqis believe this operation was only taken of the good of future Iraq, and sending a message to all terrorist not to mess up with Iraq any more…

The media here is paying a lot of intention to the death of Yasser Arafat, I really wished that Iraqi delegation didn't head for Egypt…and from the few hours I was following news Al-jazeera and as usual was telling bunch of lies, one of it's correspondent in Fallugah was saying that the national Iraqi forces and U.S. forces are torturing the doctors in hospitals and the clerics of mosques!! Because they didn't leave the city as they ordered…and we suppose to believe this, the problem is some people believe every thing Al-Jazeera say here!!!

This is a letter that I found in a forum from an Iraqi citizen in Fallugah, being translated by one of the members there…

"…In the Name of Allah the Compassionate and Merciful,

I am a citizen of Fallujah and have sent this call to most Iraqi newspapers, but everybody is scared of conveying the truth about my town and you are my last hope. I left the town with my family last night not to escape from the occupiers' bombs but to escape a fatwa by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Janabi and the "Consultation Council in Fallujah". The gist of it is that each head of a family with daughters of more than 10 years of age should marry them off to one of the Mujahideen to protect them from rape by occupation soldiers should they overrun the town. I am a father of three daughters older than 10 years of age and I do not want to marry them off to those Mujahideen. This fatwa was announced immediately after the end of the the Mujahideen Conference in Fallujah and Ramadi on 21/10/2004 and was widely approved of by religious and tribal leaders. Please convey our call to the world and may Allah give us refuge."

Really can't say anything about its credibility, but there is rumors also that's some women organizations are offering and tempting to marry young women with the infiltrated Arab terrorists the so called "Mujahdeen"
And these organizations are under control of ex-ba'athes and some radical clerics…well this is all maybe some rubbish of newspapers or might be the most disgusting thing I've ever heard in my life :P

Massacre

Yesterday 48 dead bodies of the new Iraqi national guard were found near Diyala in place called Balad roze, the least word to describe it is as a massacre they were tied and facing the ground when they shot with many bullets along with the five bus drivers….

Al-Jazeera and as usual brought one of there analyst trying to give more light about it, and that's what the analyst nearly said in English"…those men only joined the new army for there economical purposes, beside the national guard is now involved with many massacres like in al-Najaf or Falluga and many other places so they are now the enemies of Iraqi people, and they are now a target for many armed groups"
He didn't mention there sacrifices protecting there country or even give a condolences to there families, as if he was happy and trying to say that they deserved it….

Few days remained for the elections and I believe this one took more attention from the people in Middle East and specially Iraqis, than any previous elections…
The fever of elections reached here, and you hear people arguing about!!
For me I Prefer Bush for many reasons, one of them that he was fighting in the past four years and took one of most boldness decisions, it's not fair that some one else inherit the success that might be achieved later, I know the situation here is foggy and hard, it's as if someone one want Iraq to remain as a battle for ever, but I have the feeling that's it's going to end in a moment or another…
Beside Republications are more realistic for world events as compared to the eight years of Bill Clinton's presidency were the Iraqi issue remained without any progress to mention…
I've watched all the debates and have the feeling that Kerry will win at the end, I made a poll and really won't to know which one you prefer and why…

About last poll Iraq the model took the first place with 51% then healing Iraq with 22% and third place to The Mesopotamian with 7%
what happened to that poll of Washington post? I didn't receive any e-mail from them!

In case you didn't recognize this games it's SIMS 2, finally they released part two after seven years of great success of part one, too many cool stuffs are added Sims now have fears like they fear of getting fat and they are now get old with time, and they have Aspirations also, now it's much interesting after upgrading the graphics with the 3D engine from zooming and rotating at any angle…

Few days ago Al-Arabyia interviewed three released Lebanese hostages, the information's they gave was really shocking, like the kind of treatment and suffering there;
you can't hear it from them the moment they get freed, you see them talking about the well treatment they had by Al-Mujahdeen they gave you an impression that they had a picnic there or that's what the sick media here want to show I mean al-jazeera and who's behind them…
This interview revealed many things from the cooperation between those kidnapers and some religious men in Faluga like hiding the hostages in mosques for a short time, the third hostage said that he was kidnapped again while he was hostage!!!
He was kidnapped by another group came from Al-Rumadi who have clashed with Al-faluga group!!!

yes it's not a joke it all started before yesterday night, my brother's car seized yesterday afternoon, two officers stopped him and took him to a place called al-Muthana airport were he saw nearly more than 100 BMW's all black or dark blue,

There is nothing new with my life, even in the university am repeating same lectures that I've studied last year :(
So may I introduce you to my little kitties :P

There mother is so stupid two of them disappeared maybe they are now dead…she is always here either sitting or sleeping…

This little kitty had a sad story, she first lost her mother when she was two weeks only, then she lost her two brothers or sisters really don’t know at that time :P
It was a miracle that she survived at that age :)

Here is a new photo of her with one of the three kitties, by the way they are related, she is her aunt :P

My neighbor asked me today to print for him some of photos he took with his camera; he graduated last September and became a police man…

The police men really changed from the days of saddam regime, they are now more polite, more neat, well equipped, they help people in the streets more than before, and I see some of them wear eye glasses and that's a good sign for me :P

9th of April and my life

I just wanted to share with you that day of my life, I thought of writing it after an email I received asking me which president I prefer for America, and how Americans now are divided between Bush and Kerry, so I thought of Iraqis division about that day too, that day made a lot of arguments between Iraqis, if it considered a happy day for liberation or sad day represents occupation…
And the problems all start from that opinion, I see Iraqis are more divided than I've ever seen, anyway I'll start from the moment I saw the statue of saddam falling, I felt like I was born again, and I saw my father like I've never seen him again, he was like 20 years younger :P we were all so happy, Finally we get rid of saddam :)
at that time I was in Dyala, not in Baghdad we thought it would be much safer than Baghdad, we were in a house of people that we don't even know before and they've just accepted us, that day I saw the opposite thing at there eyes there were sadness and bitterness, we all were watching TV at the moment when the Iraqis and US forces was trying to get down saddam statue, I've heard them mumbling that those are just spies work for America and trying to describe them as bunch of criminals, I tried to open my mouth at that moment, but I saw my father blinking his eye to me then looking at the photo of saddam that they have put at there house, then I realized every thing....the sad fact that in Iraq there is still some people who love saddam, I didn't then pay attention to them anymore, from my point of view Iraq is now just freed, Dyala at that time didn't fall yet, at the same time we've heard heavy gun shooting and voices of people shouting from the prison next to the house, this prison was holding all prisoners that transferred from Baghdad, and there charges was only politic since saddam freed all criminals from prisons few months before war, I don't know how did the prisoners knew that saddam is no longer in power now, so they rebelled or that what the story we've heard from people there, and the fedayeen killed them all; this maybe something that news didn't cover at that time, And maybe that was the last mass grave happened by that regime.
Anyway I just stocked at the house until night finally came, then I went out to have some fresh air, didn't know number of people being killed after that siege;

for the first time I criticized saddam in front of two other friends, that I didn't know them for only six days, I mean at the bad old days I have to know my friend for at least a six months then I start with slight joke at saddam, and see if he laughed from the bottom of his heart :P then only I can speak freely at saddam, the conversation didn't went well, one of them was talking with astonished how Iraq is now conquered by America, and if the Americans are going to kill us all, then I answered him Nooo, we were conquered by saddam and his family, and I wish there is a tank in front of my house tomorrow when I return to Baghdad to protect us from the Fedayeen…
Then the other friend took me back to the house, and told me: man what are you talking about… you don't know who is his father…he is a big commander in intelligence of Dyala….duh!!!
I slept that night, like I've never slept in my life, or maybe because bombing just stopped :P
Then next morning we were setting up things to return to Baghdad again.

Wow, Iraq started its way of defending its title of Asian youth tournament, with a wide victory today against South Korea 3-0 :)
The funny part was that Last Iraqi goal scored at minute 92 by a player named Ferid :)
Next matches will be against Yemen and Thailand, so the Iraqi team has a great chance n to take the lead of the group…

Iraq won the cup at 2000 against Japan with a golden goal, and that tournament was the born of the Olympic team and first national team now.

Today I received my results……….. I failed :(
Maybe I should change my blog name to loser4ever, well we have a say here that repeating will even teach the donkey :P
Duh…I didn’t have the mood to blog until today, Anyway the good news is I finally have my own car :) I just bought it a few days ago…

I spend the past year without a car, after what I’ve done to my grandma's car, click here
No more high speed after that accident…

More than 1 million used cars entered the country immediately after the war has finished, since importing of cars was only under control of the government, and they didn’t import any cars in the past 15 years but only few in the last 2 years, they were so expensive compared to now a days prices; for us we bought at 1980 Toyota corona model 79, with nearly 1200$, and then managed to sell it just few months ago with 1300$ so we made profit after 25 years of using it :)
Stupid country I know :P

The problem now a days is the heavy traffic in Baghdad, there are many roads and important bridges closed, and beside the new cars that entered, there is no signs of getting the traffic light back to service!!
Anyway Things were even worse, when there were no police at all at the streets, with 7million population town!!

Am just hoping now that Iraqis we’ll be able again of buying new cars, as they used to do just before that stupid Saddam put his hands on the country at late seventies :)

My worst nightmare came true, Iraq reach the semi final and come back without any medal, not even a bronze medal that we may add to the only bronze we took in 1960 at weightlifting.

Iraq dominated along the match, we missed at least 5 chances at first half, 2 hits the bar, and we continued missing chances along the 93 minutes;
I really hate Italy defensive style of play, and now they are even playing it against Asian teams.

Italy scored there goal at minute 8 of the match from a defensive mistake, then the whole Italian team played in there own box, Iraq really deserved to take something along this tournament :(

Anyway now we had strong team, a team that we will put all our hopes for next world cup :)

Gold and silver medals vanished, still bronze….

The Iraqi dreams of reaching the final vanished today, after the defeat against the Paraguay 3-1;

I believe Iraq lost the match for these reasons:

1- Adnan hammed (Iraqi coach) underestimated the Paraguan team, and wanted to finish the game from first half, and played with deferent lineup.

2-Iraq played with no defense at the first half; don’t know where they were exactly.

3-paraguay (with this team) beated Brazil last coppa America (that what the commentator kept repeating along the match :P)

4-talking about luck, this game made me believe there isn’t such a thing!!

5-Noor Sabri our spider man had no chance today.

6-That stupid French referee :P

Anyway we pressed a lot on the second half, after the corrections that Adnan Hammed made, and we lost some certain goals.

I’m proud of what the players have done to IRAQ till now :)
And congratulation to Paraguay (may be am the only Iraqi who have congratulated them :P)

We will play Italy for the bronze medal, hopefully they return with it :)

Iraq Vs Australia

Iraq passed the Australian team after a hard match, and managed to qualify to the semi final, letting Iraq at one step from adding an Olympic medal to the lonely bronze medal we took at early sixties(can’t remember when exactly) at weightlifting;

Iraq played very well at the first half, we had possession over the ball more than Australia, and this half ended 0-0

The second half the Iraqi players lost concentration, and played a defensive tactic, Noor Sabri made the best save in the tournament after a lob ball from Alex, and managed to take the ball from the line of goal, then jumped again and saved another shoot from the same player, then the referee canceled the goal for an offside (was a horror movie :P)
Then the game went on and on for the Australian until minute 63 EMAD MOHAMMED scored an awesome goal form a cycle kick and put Iraq on the lead :)

Noor sabri saved Iraq from certain goals, Razzaq Farhan wasted an Iraqi goal, and the rest of the match was for well defended line of Iraq and the confident performance of goal keeper Noor Sabri.

This time the sky was really raining bullets, I wonder what will happen if we took the gold.

Iraq Vs Morocco

Despite of the loss against morocco 2-1, Iraq qualified as the first of its group and will play Australia, the second of group C at the quarter final.
Since Iraq was already qualified Adnan Hammed the Iraqi coach decided to rest six of the first line squad; the fist half ended 0-0, at the second half minute 63 Salih Sadeer scored the first Iraqi goal, then morocco draw min.69 from a penalty kick and then managed to take the lead at min. 73.

Costa Rica joined Iraq to quarter final after a surprise wining against Portugal 4-2, they scored there forth goal at min 90, and taking the seat from morocco to join Iraq to the next round by goal advantage.

Soccer is crazy that’s why we love it :)

I just received a wonderful e-mail from US citizen today, talking about my blog and how it is great like me :P

These e-mails really make my day :)

I quote this from the e-mail hope he (she) don’t mind “…Do you know that the American soldiers who have to fight in the Holy Cemetery are having a tough time of it, because we are not used to disrespecting the dead? They told a journalist last week that they look at the cemetery plots and see pictures of the people buried there; and say they aren’t supposed to be there to fight anymore, but to help rebuild. But we can’t let people run wild in the streets whenever they want, holding people hostage with guns and their own rules……that is not civilized, and that is not true freedom; that is lawlessness; why don’t a lot your citizens understand this? Or don’t they want to? Please help us to understand.”

That was really something touching and noble, it made me feel more relief after reading it, and I wish I had the answer for it, since this cemetery is holy place for Shia, my grandfather and my whole family buried there, i think the biggest cemetry in the world; and The place where Muqtada took to hide in, WHY!!

The latest news is Muqtada refused today to negotiate with Iraqi assembly delegation, leaving the government with no chance except to break in to the Imam Ali shrine, the National Iraqi guards are preparing them self for the operation.
If this operation were really meant to occur today, am just praying for minimum casualties.

Iraq continued its outstanding performance and won against Costa Rica, 2-0
First half ended 0-0 with few chances for both teams, as the second half started the Costa Rican pressed and they had some dangerous chances in front of the goal until minute 67 came, and the great Kurdish player scored a wonderful goal; the Iraqi fans were so maniac :P some of them even entered the pitch; seems there is a lot of Iraqi Kurd's at Greece :)

Then Adnan Hemmed substituted Emad Mohammed with Mahdi Kareem, who didn’t last for only 6 minutes and scored the 2nd Iraqi goal at the minute 73 with a cross from Howar again :)
The match ended with this result after adding 6 minute injury time or maybe more!

Iraq Vs Portugal : 4-2

A historical victory against Portugal 4-2 today, I thought a draw against Portugal would be great, no need to mention the possibility of losing the game with 3 goals to none or even more :P

The game started with an own goal from our defender Haider Jabar, after that surprising goal, the Iraqi Olympic played an outstanding match, depending on effective long ball, through balls, and depended a lot on the wings especially on Howar, that made many gaps at the Portugal’s line of defense.
The draw came from the Emad Mohammed the man of the match, and assisted two goals.
Howar scored the second goal putting Iraq this time in the lead; at the end of first half Portugal managed to score the draw goal.
At the second half Iraq took the lead again after a great team work between Qusay Munair and Emad Mohammed and then finally to Younis Mohammed.
The Iraqi team didn’t after that goal retreat all back to defense we had some chances in front of the goal, but it was a hard time for Iraqi defenders; then from a counter attack Salih Sadeer scored the forth Iraqi goal :)

Today at 17:30 GMT, 19:30 at Baghdad time, the whistle will blow for beginning of the match between Iraq and Portugal; the Iraqi Olympic team will be represented by same team in Asia 2004.
The road to Athens wasn’t so easy, we even qualified with a miracle at the last round, after the draw between Oman and Kuwait 0-0 and the stunning win against Saudi 3-1.

I hope today don’t repeat the poor performance that we showed against China, and the coach Adnan Hammed won’t play a defensive match against Portugal.

I’m so excited to see Ronaldo (the right wing of Manchester united) when he play against our defender Bassim Abaas, lets hope will play the same as Ashley Cole :P as that match between England and Portugal in Euro.
Portugal squad also contain Deco, so it won’t be an easy game for our team, a draw will be victory to our team.

One of the most exciting game that I’ve ever played the SUFFERING is kind of games like Maxpayn but the different is The designers of this game just couldn’t stop the idea of keep killing people :P in many many terrified ways, from tearing the bodies to pieces to the beheading and many disgusting ways, don’t know whats wrong with them :P

you start the game in a prison as a prisoner, then the cups and the prisoners are attacked by monsters, starting from the very beginning with a big mess, you will be stunned with great special effects during the fighting and it’s not just a fighting game you will face many puzzles during the game but its kind of easy one.

Am playing it now and it’s really worthy game, and guarantee to you that it’s the most thriller game :)

Iraqis get used to the usual bombing every day, but yesterday these bombing went so far way,4 churches in Baghdad all and 2 in Mosul leaving at least 20 dead, I’ve heard the news from the people at street and they were really angry at that time they were accusing saddam loyalists and Al-Qaeda, I had a brief chatting with a police man and he told me with sarcasm “we heard that killing 10 shia let the person go to heaven, but never heard of killing Christians too !”

When I came back to house i turned Tv on Al-Jazeera and as usual they were accusing Israeli mosad and even the Americans, this really sucks, I wonder when we finally get rid of these stupid conspiracies ideas, coz those terrorists are getting even with this kind of media.

i myself believe those who fight against the freedom of Iraqis and saddam loyalist behind it.

Iraqi's journey during the tournament stopped today after a wide defeat against china 3 goals to none, our team sucked today especially during the first half when the defenders depended allot on the offside trap to catch the chine’s strikers, the first goal was a mistake from haider abid al ameer trying to let H D HOW fall in the offside trap, letting him alone with the goal keeper Ahmed Ali.

the second half our team entered the match with new spirit and the coach adnan hamed made successful substitution letting Salih sadir the talented player to enter, then Ahmed Salah who had some chances in front of the goal, but the players was soooo nervous and they some times played some dirty games, I don't know who to blame them or the referee who gave 2 penalties, the first one even the camera man didn’t dare to replay it, or the second one with ahmed ali stupidity,
The best part of the match when Nashaat akram dressed as goal keeper trying to save the third penalty :P

Anyway that was my opinion of the match and I’ll try uploading some images here soon,
Waiting for our team in the next Olympic tournament and hope not to see our players again playing with this mood and keep them self as calm as possible.

Review of FAR CRY

I know there is many site provide you with latest games and give you full description of these games but I‘ll try you to write about this game since am playing it now and I really impressed with it.

FAR CRY is first person shooter game some how like the great type of games like half life and return to castle.
But I like to compare it much to half life type since the soldiers against you are very smart and they made certain strategies against you.
Also you impressed with fighting between soldiers and the monsters by the way no one is with you in this game!
You may surprise with invisible monsters along the game you can’t see them unless you wear infra red goggles.

It’s a great game you’ll like the graphics and the sound effects and its kind a very long and interesting game,

WE WILL MEET CHINA IN THE NEXT ROUND,I WOUNDER IF THE CHINAES FANS WILL SUPPORT AS THEY'VE DONE ALONG THE TOURNEMENT :P

we finaly won the match against turkmenstain it was realy a tough match but certainly we deserved to win :)
